Encourage movement
This porject is about old person movement.
After exchanges with paramedical field professionals, I worked on objects intended for hands and fingers and one object intended for the whole body.
These objects make it possible to work on different psychomotor axes but they mainly allow people to gather together for a convivial time.
This tray allows an activity in pairs requiring a certain group cohesion. Inside the board there are several rows of magnets, on which sticks and semi-circles can be placed to serve as obstacles or aids to complete the various routes.
a simple set up
The handles fit inside the holes, these two parts are magnetized thus allowing a simple installation and a good support. Straps can be used for users with a reduced degree of autonomy and make it easier for them to grasp the handles and their handling, the caregiver wraps the strap around the user's hand and the scratch at the ends of the handle.
Then put 1 to 3 sheets and magnets on top to create a course and propose an exercise.
The patterns on the sheets offer two types of challenge, either the pair must make the course with the ball following the shapes or they must hold the ball in the colored area as long as possible.
You can put 3 A4, so caregivers can come and print routes adapted to the needs of the elderly.
The entire board adapts to the different levels of autonomy of the elderly by offering several courses and straps for the handles, it is also possible to do the exercises with a ball, a soft ball or a puck to change the degree of difficulty of the exercises.
Performed standing, these exercises appeal to the sense of balance of the users thus soliciting different parts of the body.
In addition, this object allows you to work on tonic regulation (the adaptation of one's strength to achieve a certain precision), coordination and spatial orientation (the analysis of space allowing to understand how to go from point A at a point B).
3 niveaux autour de la main
The main psychomotor axes targeted by the use of this range are fine motor skills of the hands and digital coordination.
This first proposal is a deck of cards and a perforated wooden board. The player draws a card and must put their fingers on the plate according to the colored locations of the card. This proposal make work hand-eye coordination, the ability to adjust one's movements according to a visual target and spatial orientation. There are three different levels represented by a number on the backs of the cards.
This card game allows you to work on the movement of the gripper and the grip. Each finger corresponds to a color and each circle represents a phalanx, the player draws a card and must touch the colored circle(s) with his thumb. On some cards "left hand" or "right hand" is written there, the number of knuckles to touch also differs, thus allowing to vary the levels of difficulty.
