the ritual of bread and butter
Located in the middle of the marshes, Alexandre Gauthier's restaurant, la Grenouillère is implanted in the middle of nature. The larg windows let a natural light invades the restaurant the day. At night the whole space is lit by candles creating a more intimate atmosphere. The chef makes a cuisine "'d'auteur', singular and sincere" by using local products from hunting, fishing and harvest. His plates are like his cuisine, simples : black or white using the Raku technique.
