Raising awareness to the difficulties associated to aging and disabilities
Created in 1970 at the instigation of Claude Pompidou, the Foundation helps people weakened by illness, disability or old age. Thus, the Foundation acts according to this objective in 3 different ways: .
the animation of a network of volunteers
. the creation of establishments
. support for medical research
modules
I worked on an awareness module for the Claude Pompidou Foundation. Thus, the Foundation now has a tool allowing them to raise awareness among young high school and university students of the difficulties associated with disabilities and old age. This module took the form of a card game made up of 3 types of cards: questions, practical cases and effect test.
The questions address the effects of aging, the various disabilities, loneliness and other themes around old age and disability.
The practical cases state a situation that you can encounter when you are a volunteer, it is then a question of finding a way to react.
The test effects are actions to do while having the effects of visual diseases, having noise-cancelling headphones or in a wheelchair.

Objectif
The game is made up of 3 types of cards, "défi bénévole" (volunteer challenge) game boards and tokens. The objective is to win 3 tokens per category by correctly answering the cards.
livrets
The booklets are given at the end of the sensitization and sum up the information during the sensitization in a more detailed way. For old age, we then approach the notions of aging, loneliness, reception establishments and their professionals, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. For disability, we review the different types of disability in detail, the reception structures (medico-social and medico-educational) for children, adolescents and adults, education and paramedical professionals.
